Reverend Richard Coles
Biography
The Reverend Richard Coles is an English writer, broadcaster, Church of England priest, and co-presenter of Saturday Live on BBC Radio 4. He first rose to prominence as a musician in the 1980s band the Communards, who scored multiple Top Ten hits including the 1986 No. 1 single Don’t Leave Me This Way.
Often described as Britain’s most famous vicar, Richard is a familiar face on radio and television and the author of several bestselling books, including The Madness of Grief and the Canon Clement mystery series, which began with the No. 1 Sunday Times bestseller Murder Before Evensong.
